Description

Doing this meme, since it's something I'd actually wouldn't mind doing. Normally I find the meme's annoying.

These are in no particular order, aside from the first one. Just gonna name them in the order they appear in.

1. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars - I grew up playing this game on the SNES, and it still is a great game. Even if it is pretty short.
Fun Fact: It was the last Mario game ever made on the SNES and is the last game Square made with Nintendo.

2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - At first glance, I didn't think I'd like this game. But, when my brother got it and played it a lot, I developed a curiosity for it. And once I got a computer that could handle it, I quickly fell in love with the game easily making it one of the most replayable, most moddable, and best games I've ever played.
Fun Fact: TES4: Oblivion is in the Guinness book of world records Gamers Edition for the largest single player game world of any game to date.

3. Final Fantasy X - I loved this game since I started playing it years ago. It's also one of the few games I've actually beaten all the way through. It was just generally fun to play. It's also where my fandom started for Rikku.
Fun Fact: Due to the major success of this game, in 2003 it spawned Final Fantasy X-2. Making it the first FF game to have direct sequel. It was also the first of the series to feature voice acting.

4. Final Fantasy 7 - I loved this game when I first played it. I didn't get much time though, since I did not own a Playstation, nor the game at the time. I played it when I visited a friends house at the time. Now I have the game on my PSP and PS3 both.
Fun Fact: It is the first game in the series to use 3D computer graphics, fully rendered characters on pre-rendered backgrounds and was the first one of the series to be released in Europe.

5. Portal - What's not to like about this game? Got your mind challenging puzzles which make you think differently to solve them, your homicidal AI who inadvertently and sometimes directly tries to kill you with the tests it puts you through. While being fairly short, it is a fantastic game. Even the ending theme song is great.
Fun Fact: There is an Easter Egg in Portal regarding the cake (Black Forest cake) with it's recipe being scattered among various lines of binary coding.

6. Disciples: Sacred Lands - Man, this game brings back memories... I remember playing the demo back before DSL internet was common. I played the same level several times since that was the only one available on the demo. Good times...

7. Worms Armageddon: I don't quite remember what got me into wanting to try this game out, but when I did, I loved it.

8. Disciples II: Gallean's Return - First off, I said Gallean's Return since that's the version I have, and it comes packaged with Dark Prophecy already and I couldn't find a cover for Gallean's Return so I used the Dark Prophecy one. Now, I loved this one since it reminded me so much of the original that I loved. Same game style. Rather similar gameplay. With roughly the same elements. Great game. ^^

9. Worms World Party - I found this a few years later after finding Worms Armageddon, and it was very very similar which is also why I loved it. With the addition of a few new things of course.

10. Half-Life 2 - This is such an awesome game. The gore in it, the being scary but not scary at the same time bits, the sheer awesomeness factor of it. Just raw epicness. I got started with the HL2 games with HL2 Episode One. Then I bought the Orange Box which had that with it.

7-10 were rushed since I was in a hurry, may update with fun facts and more info in the future.
